And the eye contact she gives him only breaks for him to follow the trail of her own tongue as she taunts and dares, another rumble of a chuckle leaves his throat with it.
“I’ll keep it in mind, liefling.” Edging his language in there with a playful glance toward her, suggestive and restrained yet the same. But she mentions stealing Lusea away, the flame should be cherished and never tamed. And while he agrees to an extent, he has always been the flooding waters to her fiery domain. And he turns to Hotaru with a pleased grin, leaning toward her briefly.
“Perhaps. And yet you’ll find that the sea doesn’t like to be restrained.” He leans back with a knowing look, as if to say that the flame to his lover enjoyed the suffocation, the taming to her flame, of only to dance in the smoke and ash from where they meet in the end.
