He hears the other man’s amusement in his voice as his wording hits, and his steel eyes drift over the pale haired man again, looking much like he’s been afflicted the same. But that’s a conversation for a different time, not now when he doesn’t know anything about the man, and his mind still races toward the idea of taking a leap from the edge of the bone bridge just to escape it. But he listens to the man, able to keep his mind from running to that as he focuses harder on him.
“Maybe I’ll check it out some time.” He offers easily, a shrug from his shoulders in response to the Atheneum. Sunjata isn’t much one for reading books, but he did spend a majority of his time in Korofi writing laws and information, adding and adjusting — then enacting. But his fingers continue their slight curl on his biceps over the fabric and fur that covers him, shaking his head to rid the dark hair of the snow that continues to pile on.
And when Jigano asks him what he does and what he seeks, he’s uncertain how to answer. So he mulls it over a small amount, giving a light smile to him full of roguish charm as was his typical go to. “A mercenary of sorts.” It’s an easy answer, the same he had given to Phoebe when they met. “As for what I seek I haven’t quite figured that out yet.” Another not totally honest answer. He knows what he wants to do, and it involves the Devil’s Advocates, a secret to many. “I fell into Caido earlier this year in the labyrinth.” He explains, as if it’s a solid enough excuse.
