"On second thought, it's probably the death threats you get," she says quietly in that weird hold - which was really just to see if Remi would continue to burrito her up in Earth if it meant closing himself in, too. It's a poor joke, but one that each monarch can relate to, either abstractly or directly. And well, some things have to be made light of, otherwise they'll drown in the despair of it all.
It looks like Remi is well equipped to protect his husband, though, as Wessex finds herself straining against the man, struggling to hold him tightly. And yes, perhaps more quickly than she would like to admit, she is pinned. Wessex is growling (in a non threatening way, merely with effort), hell bent on doing her normal wrecking ball thing until she decides it's easier to suddenly go limp, to see if she can catch him off balance. And if she can, she she quickly pushes off the ground with her feet, bucking her hips up, trying to get them high enough to send Remi flying over her shoulder.
