The calvary has arrived. Wessex should have known it wasn’t going to be this easy.  Unfortunately, she’s all out of real ammo and no time to savor the success of their first attack. Which is fine. It’s all fine. Her mind whirls and the lesson from the tentacles in the cave comes back, so it’s clear to the Queen that they need to keep focusing on taking the tree out the tree and it’s Whomping Willow-like branches. More importantly, Rexanna is best suited to do that right now.

So that leaves the Fae to her. And, uh, Sam. Oh, Sam, it’s your time to shine.

Having been able to get back around to Rex and Amun, she grabs her bow and arrow and hisses “Keep moving and stay on the tree”  to Rexanna. The tiger is fierce, the battle-axe would hurt like hell, but the molotov cocktails are the most deadly, in her professional opinion. As fast and as suddenly as she can, Wessex lets two arrows loose towards Leroy, aiming to either stuff him like a pin cushion, or make him drop the weapons, where they might explode at his own feet. But she doesn’t stop there. No, Wessex is off again, sprinting through the dark and back around the tree, away from Rex, yelling to the Fae guards, “I’m going through a portal to get some dragons, what the fuck are you guys doing?” In the hopes, of course, that they’ll follow her.

Fairly certain that no one will know the other guy on their team isn’t ‘ Samuel, ’ she yells out again, “Be brave, Sam!”

Wessex tells Rex to not be a stationary target and keep attacking the tree, then lets two arrows loose towards Leroy. Then taunts the guards and takes off as fast as she can away from Rex, to play the decoy. Tries to encourage Sam to get in on the action..
