i have seen what the darkness does
say goodbye to who i was
Isla approaches and aims her horn down waiting for the okay from Oliver before beginning to heal him, and Sunjata’s steel eyes drift between the two men after as he mentions getting a warm place to be. Gods knew the man before them could use it, and Sunjata would be lying if he said he didn’t crave the warmth of it either. But Oliver speaks of payment and Sunjata’s head tilts slightly, thankful for the words from the Alchemist. It’s a very simplistic system here in terms of currencies, with bartering and what not being the only one he could think of.

But he gives Oliver a small half smile when he asks them to explain the world there — and he hopes that Remi invites him along if only to not have to deal with it all on his own. There’s still a small part of him that feels bad for the man after dropping the blighted Phoebe off at his door and seemingly disappearing. But ah, questions and answers for another day, as Remi stands and extends an arm — Sunjata does too, stepping away from the two men just enough as his height reaches its full amount and he shoves his hands into his pockets.

The crooked smile from Remi is surprising but welcome, and the man offers one back with a light shrug to his shoulders. “I could use some warmth.” He hums, accented deeply with a small amount of humor, before looking back toward Oliver before he’s prepared to walk with them to the guild.

Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
