Even though the alchemist's sight had been restored by Loren, still the magic from before persisted: Jigano was outlined in a faint glow, making him just that much more noticeable compared to his surroundings. Trotting forward, the large creature spread his wings and launched himself into the air. Banking around and trying to keep himself above the bard, Remi dropped suddenly with his wings pinned to his sides.
Perhaps given his advantage when it came to speed, he could simply out-fly the smaller bird before he could dart away.
