Quickly she looked down at her hands, eyes becoming glassy with tears. ”I…I’m sorry I…it’s not that I’m not emotionally invested in Remi, I’m just not romantically involved with either of you.” she said, doing her best to keep her voice from wavering.
”I don’t pity you, I empathize with you. It’s…it’s impossibly hard to love someone and know they don’t love you in return like you want.” she said, her voice a near whisper.
