The stranger - Loren - holds out glowing blue hands, and if Sunny is willing to take his embrace then I suppose I will, too. Wincing as I send my burnt left hand across the table, I watch with interest at the soft blue light that pulses from the fellow's fingers. "How many more tricks you got up those sleeves?" I ask, a brow raised, genuinely impressed. As Sunjata pulls me back to him I grin, reaching up to gently stroke his cheek, my gaze still on the blond. "If I'd had someone like you back home maybe I wouldn't have needed this pretty boy." I do lean back to kiss his cheek, though- I don't want to hurt him right now. Just tease.
Oh, so blonde bitch is the Queen? Oops, no wonder she sucked so much. My grin is feral as Sunny leans into me, one hand still on his angular cheek, slipping a little into his hair. It fades, though, when he mentions that the ones who died were his family members. Shit. And I oop.
My hand drops down from Sunjata's hair and I lean back onto the table. "Ah- sorry." Not sure what else to say: your family's dead, that's tough stuff. "Does that make you some kind of princeling, then? How come you aren't the one bossing us all around?"
