As for hurting people with your magic, I’d be shocked if you were powerful enough to kill someone at the moment. So if your magic does go awry, apologize, then fetch me or another healer to patch them up.” As someone who’d been tortured with magic for most of his life, a few knocks and scrapes from an errant spell was nothing.

Once LongNight is over, you can spend some time exploring magic.” The summoner gave Oliver a gentle smile. ”I think you’ll come to enjoy it, even have fun, and not fear it, before too long.” With that, the Launceleyn gave a friendly nod before turning to get back to work.
