Instead, he sighed, and ran a hand through his hair. "So why not ascribe yourself a purpose?" Looking away, he drummed his fingers on his thigh for a moment, eyes distant. After a long moment, he looked back at the demi-god. "You're a person, too, aren't you? Why don't you deserve to make the same choices, the same decisions, as every other person?" It was clear from his tone that he was bothered by her causal acceptance of her fate.
