You merely blink at the blue-eyed man, caring very little about what he does or doesn't do with the mud. "Small things can remain frozen for a season or so. Larger things require concentration and for me to maintain my presence." You explain, your voice quite casual as if halting time in its metaphysical tracks was simply not a big deal at all.
"For smallish things I can be a few meters away. Larger and I have to be closer." You reply. As for seeing? "Were I to simply thrust out my magic without looking there would be dire consequences, but yes it is possible. I wouldn't do it though."
