There’s no note from Deimos that she’s fried it or that she’s missed it, and so she continues to try and herd it the best she can in the growing dark – eyes unseeing but going off of intuition to try and hear where the worms may be scurrying and hiding – all except for the one that they have targeted. And instead of the confirmation, she can hear Deimos’ toss as the net lands on the ground with a slap of mud because of their weights.
She extinguishes her fire, focusing on the sound of where the worm was to decide if they need more – before she can hear it thrashing around in the net, bouncing and angry and hissing somewhat. And Rexanna grins as she turns toward Deimos, face alight with wonder and happiness. “I think we got it?” She asks, wanting confirmation, but completely uncertain without her eyes. And she’s certainly not going to stick her hands down there to find out.
