A smile spread across her face at his agreement to work with her; honestly, though, she hadn't expected him to say no with how hungry he was and how enthusiastic he had been at the prospect of paying for a drink with some work. "It's settled, then. My lovely bar will treat you good, so long as you treat her good in return. Oh, but watch out for Chunk." Vai winked, nodding across at the fat, black and white monster of a feline lazing around at the end of the counter. "That's the real bar owner right there. I just mind it for him." With a chuckle, Vervain stepped away again to get him some more broth. Luckily there was plenty of that to go around.
