Trying My Best (OPEN)

Sam had often wished he had magic, revelled in it when he had the chance to use some from drinking. Watching Jigano he felt the pang in his chest once again, the desire to be able to make something from nothing so easily, to feel as powerful as Remi and Jigano had to on a daily basis. But that power could become something menacing very quickly, if it was turned against him. It sounded like Jigano did intend to fulfil his duties unlike Remi, which meant they were essentially enemies. Worse than that, Sam knew (and was sure Jigano did too) very well who was the strongest between them. It would hardly be a fight - would Jigano kill him, if it came to it? Was he ready to die for The Voice? He did not respond to Jigano's first lot of questions. They had had this fight before and he'd given all the answers he could.
