The Sword wasn’t certain if he cared about a palace under the surface, no more intrigued or interested in castles and thrones since he’d held his own – but of other things, of leagues and fathoms below, of beaches, of sand, of dunes, of a moonlit sovereignty still pressed into his bones, he could nod his head, he could imagine, he could recall. “Have you ever been to one?” He’d discussed the nature of oceans before with Remi, knew those from their prior lands had seen the marching tides and the swell of currents, but Naturals hadn’t been beyond these walls, the bubble from before. Sunjata was likely neither of those categories, another Outlander, brought in from Spire predilections like the rest of them.
