Amalia eventually emerged from his hood, Ingrid joined their party, and their assembled gathering was off, the familiar outline of traversing underground, within caves, pulsing at his ruminations. Some ventures had been far more successful than others – but he gave no hesitation or apprehension, maneuvering quietly, awaiting whatever was to come. Their sojourns had already taught him to presume and assume nothing, just prepare as much as possible (predators might’ve been a welcome change, over other notions – the slaying of monsters something for his vehemence to grasp). The rest of them seemed bemused though, and he merely added his calm, composed stature into the fold of attuned abilities. They wandered down, Zuriel at his side, though occasionally sniffing at portions of the caverns, until the rumbling began. He paused, eyes narrowing, familiar with the sound of shifting rubble, boulders, and anything else that could have begun crumbling from the ceiling; instantly bracing, gaze flickering over their comrades and constituents. Amalia was safe, avoiding, knocking things aside, he’d managed to remain unscathed (Zuriel arched a brow, shocked), but not the unfamiliar one, Ingrid. “You all right?” His voice echoed along the chamber, ready to offer Zuriel’s skills if need be – before marching towards the rest of the fallen contortions, standing directly behind Jigano. “We could always move them,” a shrug; been there, done that, old habit and routine by now – if they wanted to continue down this route, or face it as an omen. Either way, he could assist, waiting for the go ahead. For now we stand alone, the world is lost and blown And we are flesh and blood disintegrate with no more to hate
