Attuned for nearly a year and a half, Amalia is well adapted to her animal senses, and thus the rest of the world. Without any real thought or calculation she leaps into action, protecting the person closest to her - Loren - with a swiftly projected shield of starlight, the stone bouncing harmlessly off the light.
As Loren goes to investigate the injured Amalia lets her body change again, taking on her otter form to allow her to investigate the fallen stones and search for pathways through. Turning back to the others, she shakes her head. Taking wing as an owl once more, she flies back to settle on her lover's shoulder. It would take a lot of work to move them.
