"Science is art, art is science." Bastien replied in a way that sounded like he'd said it before. (He had, a few times, in debates with the council about funding. True, then he had been against the sciences, trying to steal money from them for his newest endeavour, but the sentiment stood.) He had never been gifted in more practical, harder thinking that was required in science and mathematics and held anyone who was in respect; he regarded Remi with an approving look.
The answer to his question was a strange one. He could not discern from it if this man was like himself, thrust into the world anew. He decided to try and work it out one more time.
"Travelled...around Europe? Or around here? I would love to hear either way. I miss home and I yearn to know more about this place."
