I will destroy you in the most beautiful way possible
and when I leave...

Zephoria grew up in a world that was not doused in magic, art, beauty but rather the opposite. Concrete, machinery, and robotics were her rolling hills and sunsets, the sky even electric. She grew accustomed to this way of life where grays and onyxes were the most vibrant colors seen. Ever since she was a child, she has been independent from any family, orphaned--she had no family to go to even if was a desire. However, she wore none of her past upon her chiseled skin, determined to not let it bring her down. She pushes away many emotions, so far to the extent-- they are rarely even there anymore. Her home was a place far away from all the metal, a kind of elaborate bat cave, drenched in shadows and laced with azure lava deposits. Where she lived was a haven in all of that stinking iron and busy village allays, but her home was not enough to sustain her thirst for something more.

She could write books with the experiences of her past but never dwelled on them, accepting these monstrous races and people as apart of her job. Her skin would never age, her body did not live, blood not bleeding, she was nearly just like one of the titanium killing machines of her slum city. Zephoria cared not for the misfortunate, for the young, or for anything but really herself. A slayer, she drew in toxicity and trouble, hell she even delighted in it. As time grew on she became more restless for something newer, a landscape that didn't glitch in surges and cry in broken metallic pieces.

And now she is here. Magically transported from the lost city of rust to complete foreign territory. Her breaths are short and quiet as her lavender silver orbs glance around this new world. A place where a star hung in the sky and a clean, chilled breeze rosed her cheeks. She was wearing a lace ebonite dress that spilt at her legs and clung to her small waist and chest, the dragging edges frayed by travel and wet by the moist ground. She could hear the tickling of liquid in the distance and her eyes were rather bewildered by all this foliage, all this nature. She decided to head towards this water source so that she could hopefully find her bearings in this massive place. It had been so long since she had seen any kind of water that wasn't polluted by radioactive or chemical waste. A site distracted her from her path as she peered at a looming metal tower that would be hard to miss and she headed towards it instead. It seemed to be the only building or tower in this plot of land and well, Zephoria was a curious one. Not like she had anything else to do anyways, so exploring it was. She wondered if her stumbling upon this realm would be her demise or her salvation. Only time would tell.

you will finally understand
why storms are named after people
