This time he meandered slowly along the whims of fins and scales, batting at a few while hind legs swam diligently, his predilection for swimming not lost; calmly stoking along the intervals of currents and ambling waves of the river’s edge, until snagging another one of the fish in his paws, lifting back up to the surface once more.
