And it’s lovely, really, a calm in the storm of what would become; after games and chaste kisses, of rivalries and power, and Sunjata almost wishes he had known to savor these small moments before they’re gone, the way the light glints off her hair in that coppery sheen, the smile and giggles, snickers of laughter that leave her as they spin and twirl and move.
