Well things don’t go…. exactly according to plan. He had hoped, in a way, that he wouldn’t just slide within it, trapped and unable to breathe, and yet here he is — here all sky’s characters eventually end up — but he doesn’t think he’s useless. No, he reaches for the shifts within him, knowing that he needs to get out so he can breathe again, but perhaps it might destroy part of the remaining monster. If only he could get some air.
Haai joins in trying to scratch at the mud to get him free, and Sunjata filters through the shifts he knows until he feels something different, and he latches on, internally panicking and hoping it’s something big to blast the mud away from his person, to reach the air and remove the pressure. He tugs, shifting into his killer whale form, hoping with enough force it might rise him from underneath the mud creature.
