His sutures were still in good practice, but the risk of infection was still significant, and it wouldn't stop the bleeding right away, which was what this Harper ideally needed. "Many Naturals here view magic... poorly. And don't take kindly to it being flaunted." Though perhaps that bigotry was fading as time passed and more Outlanders used magic to help people?
