He'd run from his shop invisible and almost stayed that way as he saw Amalia, knew she would likely disapprove of what he was planning to do. But he'd promised himself he wasn't going to hide anymore - in fact, he had to show himself to make it clear that he was protecting the town just as much as any non-Ascended were.
