She pursed her lips thoughtfully, listening carefully to Jigano's theories. They did soothe some of the worries, indeed also the sense of urgency she'd been carrying. It was a relief to have shared this, so that the burden of all the questions no longer rested entirely on her. He was right that they probably ought to keep this information from becoming widespread, but he also had a point in that it was a rhetorical piece of knowledge. What could they do, indeed, if something happened to the originals? Travel to other worlds on some kind of crazy rescue mission? They could still barely leave the Hollowed Grounds!
Breathing in deeply, Maea let out a long sigh, and plenty of the tension along with it. Rolling her shoulders, she straightened a little, nodded again and smiled.
"Perhaps we can just keep it in mind for now. With so many other things happening, and considering it's been a year since I learned about this without anything dire happening, I think we can assume it's not an urgent matter. Just another puzzle piece, to save for later." It certainly wasn't a riddle they could solve here and now.

She recalled something frail and beautiful budding between the bard and Rory at their latest junction, the ever-present gryphon who melted every heart, and... realized, that she really didn't know all that much about her guild master.
