PETER
Peter was coming from the opposite direction of Loren, and whoever else he’d asked along. Honestly, it had been a surprise that he’d been asked, and an even bigger surprise that he’d said yes. There was still... tension (to put it lightly) surrounding Loren, and Peter does not want to get caught up in it. There’s enough to the quest to justify though, so Peter finds himself racing across the snows in a form not entirely meant for it.
As he comes upon a goose and another, far more vicious looking bird, he stops, trotting up the last few steps and returning a greeting to Loren. I think I will, do need help, but... Without finishing the thought, the hyena shifted, shrunk down into a tiny pale bat, an ability he’d discovered only recently. He was small enough now to cling to the back of either bird comfortably, and be carried along. The concern, and affection were met with a burst in turn, Peter still surprised when others were concerned for him.
There’s no choice for him but to be carried along as they apparently come upon the first step they’re looking for. As soon as they’re on the ground Peter flies up, thinking this form will be slightly more useful. Is there anything specific we should be looking for? He asks, flapping after Loren.
