And then he hears Frey of all beings, gaze lifting to meet the god as they refer their question to the both of them while winking to Phoebe.
She says yes, and he finds his gaze returning to Phoebe with a nod of his own head. “Yes.” He offers, accented and low, and says nothing more — letting the deity take the reins however they so wished. Nothing else to say, nothing else to add, just quietly thankful he hasn’t been smited for the ridiculousness of it all.
At least Deimos had made Phoebe’s rings pretty, and rather Frey like too even if his ring was quite the opposite.
