She's imperfect, but she tries She is good, but she lies She is hard on herself She is broken and won't ask for help Her mouth is a tight line of discontent; her eyes are hard, staring at nothing. Two steps forward, three steps back- as though that made it any better. As though trying and failing was somehow easier than never trying at all.
