While still a very strange situation, the man didn't look like he had lost all his marbles and would try anything overtly stupid, and since effort had become her theme word of the season (thank you for that, Amun) Maea decided to try and forget the bad things for a while. Raising a brow at his hidden dagger - she had none to flaunt, alas, so it was a win for him there - she picked it up from the tabletop and looked at the sharp prongs along the edge. Not quite anything like she had seen before.
