She doesn’t know what Neron intends, what his tactics are. As of now, she has only met him briefly, as he helped to finish the magic school. Though she found he went up a notch in her book at that, seeing him working for the school rather than letting others do that work for him. He could have, of course, as Warden, just sat back and watched. Though he’d toiled alongside them, setting up the training spaces that she uses now. Perhaps he was different than Zariah, with no such plans of conquest and ruin.
And yet, Zariah was in Halo. Weaver assumed that she had his ear, given her position. She knows nothing of their history or relationship though, outside of the fact they share a last name. ”Hopefully,” she echoes, but it’s a hollow hope. They did know better, if history were any indication. Weaver would soon get to know the Archmage better anyway, though it would not be a good relationship she suspected. Zariah has done nothing worthy of respect. Not yet. And it didn’t seem likely she would, though perhaps Weaver would be surprised.
After a moment she stands up, still swinging her basket. ”Thank you for the company. I am sure we will run into each other soon enough, but for now, I will let you get back to your day.” Soon enough indeed, for she would be back to learn her fire magic from him once she had enough to actually fight and stand half a chance against him.
