Plotting for his party was beginning to involve a lot more pieces and quests than Bastien had originally intended for, but he found he was actually quite enjoying the process of getting it all together. Still, they held the power he needed to really push his event to the best of the year, so he found himself kneeling in the glade, holding a huge bag of gifts.
They liked offerings, so he had brought all he could find; fruit of the season ripe and bursting, a sketchbook of nude drawings, fresh wine he'd brought from the market, some little charms of unmentionables that some people in the village seemed to believe improved fertility. It was quite the spread of perverted presents, if he said so himself. Laying it all out before him he dipped his head and spoke. "Frey, I know I am an Ascended and therefore not in your graces, but I bring you these gifts in hope you may hear out my request."
