It does little to keep going in a circle when the majority were too stubborn to change in their ways and their thoughts. So when Sunjata listens to the rest of what Jigano has to say, the commentary that him being there had likely made things worse in the end, he’s not entirely surprised. It had been something, at least, but it still frustrated him immensely that Jigano couldn’t see the way that he was.
It doesn’t matter in the end, however, because Jigano stands and bows to them before leaving. And Maea leans forward with her head in her arms, and he lets his gaze wash over her in his own quiet consideration. “Nothing to be sorry for.” He offers Maea easily, fingers tapping idly against the wood of the table as he thinks on it.
