One that he snorts at, takes another deep drag of his cigarette. “Oh, there’s morals in this story?” He asks with a slight smirk, before he snorts and shakes his head, exhaling a plume of smoke as he reaches into his pocket to offer the piece of parchment.
Remi doesn’t snatch it, however, and Sunjata leaves it outstretched for some amount of time before folding it up again. And when Remi continues, Sunjata’s laugh is a bit deep, a bit hoarse, and tired. “I’ll stop you right there.” He pauses, putting the paper back into his back pocket. “Ex-wife.” A dark raised brow and a look is leveled at Remi.Because this sorta makes the most sense if it was a return trip maybe idk what’s goin on.
“Good to know where the other piece is, at least. Though I’m going to assume I’m not welcome back.” A smokey rumble of a laugh leaves him. “You and Ronin though, I did meet him finally. I gotta say you were right.” Feels like forever ago when Remi had mentioned that Ronin was the best looking man in the Grounds. And if someone approves the look of exhausted, done with everyone's shit forever, Sunjata approves of it immensely.
