The name thing. Obviously girl back home isn’t Phoebe, yea?” At this point, Nate isn’t sure what is and isn’t appropriate to bring up, but figures if he oversteps a line he’ll know.
Haai is eagerly accepted onto his shoulder, Nate’s hand coming up automatically to stroke at her fur, and help keep her steady while he walks. God he missed having something small and furry around. Mia had been a good temporary fill, but there was nothing like a dog, or in this case, nothing like a half wolf griffin thing.
