Usually, Peter would be embarrassed to be called out for his closeness, but at the moment he couldn’t really bring himself to care. He just offered Sunjata a shrug, a mostly hidden smile, and turned his attention to the task at hand, the caves.
Amalia answered his question, and Peter couldn’t help the way he tipped his head back and forth, like he was considering that. ”Has anyone... even talked to... to a dragon before?” He asked, knowing it wasn’t something he had heard of. And he wasn’t really the most skilled conversationalist.
As they entered the caves, Peter took Apricum out of his bag and set it down, among sure it kept pace with them. He kept his eyes focused up, partially shifting his throat and his ears to use his bat senses. His last trip into the ice caves had given him some expectations at least.
Peter has let Apricum out, and is using echolocation to keep an eye above them.
