Perhaps the reaction would get worse, but then again, perhaps Phoebe would have been able to move on a bit more by that time... it was hard to tell. Impossible to predict the outcome.
As for keeping an ear open for friends that might have the kindness and patience required to deal with a broken woman? Again, all Maea could do was nod. "I'll think on it, and let you know. I mean... if she does want someone to share curses with, perhaps Hotaru would be a choice... they've got ire for Sunjata in common, if nothing else. But I've no idea if they get along at all." Cracking an eye open, she peered over at him, a half smile playing along the lines of her mouth.
