Semi-charmed kind of life

Remi was working on the outside of his shop. When he'd established this place he'd been worried about the structure and proper ventilation, but now that he'd been here for a few weeks there were many other upgrades that needed seeing to: windows and doors that were improper fits at best, weird curves in the flooring, and shelves that didn't sit quite level. Given his new magical abilities the alchemist though that perhaps he could take care of them easily, but as he had no real training in magic and really didn't know the limits of what he could do at all, he was finding it rather slow going. Currently, he was working on the door. It didn't fit into the frame because both were quite warped. The door handle didn't latch securely due to this, and the alchemist couldn't figure out what to do short of just removing the entire thing and trying to shim it all back together again.
