And the snow that she tosses at him catches on the side of his face, glittering and lingering in his eyelashes and scruff to his beard as he peers down at her. He wasn’t going to let her go, however, and instead his gaze is a bit more focused – seeing the light glittering along the snow that’s hit her in the retaliation, a hum of a chuckle leaving him.
But he leans down to press a kiss to her lips, far too intent on ensuring he receives the prize of the tackle, before he pulls away to squint a small amount at her. “You got snow in my shirt.” He huffs, some feigned hurt and an animated shiver that runs down his spine, as though it’s the worst thing he’s ever dealt with – never mind the fact that he’d done so many more worse things than a bit of snow down his shirt.
