He withdraws fully now, letting her piece herself back together enough that she turns and adjusts his own as well, though he helps. He certainly needs a second to relax a bit, to put himself together enough to reluctantly go back to the traps to check them.
With the shawl back on Maea as he stands, the cold returns to him fiercely, and he shudders a sigh through it before going toward Maea once more and leaning down to kiss the top of her head and brush a small amount of snow off the shawl, before going to gather the ropes.
Then with that accomplished, he goes to help her check the traps and the incredibly long trip to the tavern.
