Hearing that Amalia had been made the second in command made Sam raise his eyebrows in surprise, one question immediately coming to mind: why? Not that he doubted his sister's competence, but he was curious to know Rexanna's reasoning as to why she had been deemed more valuable than the rest of them. Thinking it unwise to ask now, he decided to meet with the Queen later with his questions.
He was happy to take on the role of historian and as Jigano said, it was already tied in with many of their tasks anyway. "I have been undertaking history projects for the Hollowed Ground for years.
