Good Times

The kappa was enjoying a day of swimming and minding its own business, until two human-like creatures fell through its atmosphere entirely ruining the delicate dance it had been performing. Their cries were buoyant and joy-filled, and yet the creature was horrified and immediately put on the defensive. No one had come down here in years, and the solitary creature had found that it rather liked being left alone. Timid and mild though it normally was, as Rex and Alistair’s voices carried upwards through the canyon, the creature’s gaze was immediately pulled towards the secret location of its cave, and all the treasures that lay within. Swimming through the mistm the kappa opened its beak and screeched its disapproval, immediately flying/swimming its way from the skies towards Rexanna and Alistair. As it did so, it shot a frigid jet of water towards them, before swiftly rising back up and hiding in the mists again, hoping this action would be enough to force the humans to leave.
