Catch that gourd! {Seasonal Event}

They may say, "It's not enough, leave your dreams collecting dust," But there's a fire that you can't hide. Ashe didn’t wait to consider Kalt, or what he was doing, or the fact that she just ran into him. Her eyes were locked on the fleeing shape of a bumbling, savage gourd and the wine spider clinging to it for dear life. Ashe was closing the distance quickly, racing through the lush trees until she burst into a clearing of long and soft grass. ”Shit!” she hissed as the gourd - and her spider - disappeared from sight. ”Soot, you stupid, drunk son of a bitch!” Ashe watched the grass rustling, and - She yelped sharply and leaped to the side as one of those gourds suddenly lurched out from the grass. Her lip curled back, and a spark of lightning leaped from her fingertips and burst the gourd on sight chunks and seeds and pumpkin-innards exploding outwards and covering her legs. She snapped her head back around to see the grass moving… everywhere now. Shit. Where had Soot gone? Ashe kicked at another gourd, sending it tumbling back into the grass as it came at her, but there were more following. She grit her teeth, eyes glancing about and trying to catch sight of Soot. There was a glimpse of wobbling fuzzball over the top of the grass, but then she had to swing her now gourd-guts covered sword down through another one that came snarling at her. She glanced over her shoulder, and… he followed her. Of course he did. She bit back her pride, however - her spider’s life was on the line. ”Kalt!” Ashe called as she stomped her foot down, bursting apart another sweet-smelling demon pumpkin. ”I have to catch that one!” She pointed her sword in the direction of where she saw that glimpse of Soot - she was afraid of blasting it, afraid of hurting her spider.
