Quanil couldn't remember the last time they'd felt so calm. Maybe they'd never felt this kind of calm before. Whatever it was, they heard no voices, saw nothing and no one.
Maybe the brief warmth and the gentle feeling of encouragement were how the Gods "answered." People had always said they had "spoken" to the Gods, but perhaps that was exaggeration or poetry or something like that. Quanil had always been too literal to understand things like that.
They waited a bit more and when no actual voices were forthcoming, they picked up their Loreseeker pin and stood. If nothing else, they didn't feel quite as awkward as they had when they'd first walked in. They supposed this wasn't so bad.
Quanil paused to run their thumb over the sigil, and then pocketed it once more. They turned and walked out of the shrine thinking they'd definitely come back. Just maybe not all the time. They bothered people enough with their random babblings; wouldn't do to bother the gods too much.
