Sunjata had done it almost the first time they met, and said he didn't particularly wanted to let go again. Then later by the house, laughing playfully as he carried her towards a beautiful dream. Now Loren did it too. Maea ought to be peeved. Annoyed, insulted; she was not a child, was perfectly able to walk on her own!
