“Perhaps.” A playful wink sent to the Alchemist as he shows the way he’d wrapped his hand up. And when Remi offers his own hands, Sunjata begins to wrap them as well – not too tight to make it impossible to move the hand, but tight enough that the bones should stay in place in case things went a bit south. Honestly? He wasn’t sure what to expect, but he did know that Remi was powerful and somehow that was all he really needed to know.
The question, however, has his gaze lingering down on the Alchemist’s face, listening when he mentions that he’d shied away from it. A swift nod is granted, a quiet hum of consideration before he finishes wrapping his hands. “Part of my training was hand to hand combat. But boxing was illegal back in Korofi, with the gambling and drinking and alla that.” He explains, offering a slight grin to Remi. “Really it’s no different than sparring. There’s rules with it, though I haven’t really implemented many of them. Just fight with your fists, not your head or elbows.” A swift grin to that, stepping away and taking up a stance, fists at the ready to watch the Alchemist.
“Ready when you are.” Ready to see where this takes them, what kind of attack the man might do.
