Sam wrinkled his nose as the door was opened; he had been able to smell to his full capacity for a while now, but after years of having dull senses particularly strong odours still caught him off-guard. With a rather put out expression and careful steps he headed inside to see what was around; immediately he could see what books had been in this room were not going to be savable, the pages clung together with damp and mould crawling over the covers. Well, the first job was to see what he was working with. Sam went to work picking up the chairs and placing them outside the door, just trying to get them out of the way for now, and pushing the intact table to one side; he then took a broom and swept at the leaves, trying to get them closer to the door for taking out but also to see what the stains beneath were; he dreaded to think. -- Sam moves out the chairs, pushes aside the table and starts sweeping to look at the stains.
