Tishy looked back up at him, unintimidated but equally respectful of the other cat-human-thing before her. She meowed up at him, the shadows around her flaring a bit as her tail flicked. There she remained at the edge of the puddle until Remi went reeling back. The kitten hissed and arched up, shadows stretching as wide and tall as she could make them, surprised by the sudden movement.
