[KQ] and the earth screamed

They continue to bellow their orders, do Sunjata and Nate, and having been so successful the first time, their respective crowds of people continue to listen. To the Port! Cries echo the instructions, and the first of those fleeing start to thin out the people, allowing others to move and breathe more freely, quelling the panic.

If only it were destined to stay that way. The approaching Crowd 3 is panicking, and no amount of cries for calm on Sunjata's part would bring them around (at least not this time). Given that they are running past Saiden and his wall of water to get out of town, the sailor's calls, too, fall on deaf ears. Sunjata will find himself trapped in the sudden crush.

Remi and his mercy killings go unseen, and given the situation that is not so surprising. But the ash is falling thicker and faster now, and any further attempts to fly through it will be dangerous to say the least.

Meanwhile Jigano continues to create his earthen moat, preparing a shield for the town that will (hopefully) hold the volcano's wrath at bay.

But he will want to move. The lava is nearly upon the city, and hundreds of degrees of heat, even from a distance, will sear the flesh from his bones.

Crowds 1 and 2 continue towards the beach, and heed instructions to go towards Kaiholo Port.

Crowd 3 is still in a state of chaos, and Sunjata is now caught in the crush!
