The wings gave her away, and he was half-tempted to roll his eyes, before he remembered they were supposed to be striving towards better forged alliances and ties with the nymphs; even though few of them seemed keen to consider it. His stare flickered upon her weapons, and he could feel the sensation of Zuriel’s haughty condescension marauding its way through their bond, and now he was forced to tamper down both of their hostile, vehement mannerisms.
