She had an immense curiosity about life
The gods were an important part of the life of any mermaid. It only made sense that Delta would want to speak with them. So much had happened and she felt incredibly powerless. There was a need to be connected with others, a thirst for seeking out more information and knowledge. Already she felt as if she had learned a lot about the immediate world she lived in, but then she met someone else. A man from a world called Halo and soon, she wanted to learn more.
It’s why she chose to seek out the gods for assistance. She had hatched a plan and wanted their assistance with allowing it to happen. Like any good person, she brought some offerings with her for the gods. Each one was somewhat unique and may cater to each of the gods. She had found a small, ceramic figurine of a rabbit for Ludo. Then, there was a fresh fruit which...probably wouldn’t last in the water, but it was the best she could do for Frey. And finally for Safrin she had found a gorgeous shell, but one which could no longer be used for any aquatic life for it had been broken. That didn’t mean it was no longer beautiful and would hopefully be good.
Each object was placed along the statue and she backed up. ”Hello, Id like to request an audience with a God.”
